Puppy and Kitten

At Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic, Inc. we know that the key to a long and healthy life with your pet begins with proper veterinary care for your new puppy or kitten.  Our puppy/kitten wellness program is designed to prevent and treat the most common illnesses that affect youngsters from the very beginning.  Following through with this protocol may be the most important thing you can do to ensure your pet grows and develops to his/her full potential, and to help avoid many deadly and costly illnesses along the way.

Purchasing a wellness plan allows you to provide the highest level of care with affordable monthly payments.  The following is a brief outline of the services included in a puppy or kitten wellness plan.

• Unlimited comprehensive (nose to tail) physical examinations during regular office hours.
• Full series of vaccines (as appropriate for your pet’s age, breed, lifestyle and health status).
• Three intestinal parasite exams (microscopic examination of feces for parasite eggs).
•  Three dewormings for roundworms and hookworms.
• Ear swab and microscopic examination for ear mites and other routine causes of ear infections.
• Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids test (for kittens only).
• Interstate health certificates as needed for interstate travel.
• Blood work to screen for liver of kidney abnormalities.
• Spay or neuter surgery.
• 5% savings on other medical services not included in the puppy / kitten wellness plan.

Adult Wellness Plans

We know that preventative veterinary care reduces illness, improves the quality and the quantity of our pet’s lives with us.  Adult wellness plans allow us to partner together to provide your pet the quality veterinary care they deserve, in an affordable manner.  Just as you require regular check-ups and preventative testing by your doctor, so do your pets!

Adult wellness plans are bundled veterinary services, offered to you with a significant savings, under an annual agreement.  You commit to a small monthly payment and your pet is eligible to receive all of the plan benefits that you have selected.  Following is a brief description of the three adult plans that we offer.

Basic Adult Wellness Plan Benefits

• Unlimited comprehensive physical examinations (nose to tail) during regular office hours.
• Vaccinations (as appropriate for your pet’s age, breed, lifestyle and health status).
• Two intestinal parasite examinations per year (microscopic examination of feces for parasite eggs).
• Heartworm test (for dogs)
• Feline Leukemia test (for cats)
• Interstate health certificates as needed for interstate travel.
• 5% savings on medical services not included in the Basic Wellness Plan.

Comprehensive Adult Wellness Plan Benefits

• Unlimited comprehensive physical examinations (nose to tail) during regular office hours.
• Vaccinations (as appropriate for your pet’s age, breed, lifestyle and health status).Two intestinal parasite examinations per year (microscopic examination of feces for parasite eggs).
• Heartworm test (for dogs)
• Feline Leukemia test (for cats)
• Interstate health certificates as needed for interstate travel.
• Organ function screening (evaluates liver, kidneys, cholesterol, blood sugar and pancreas).
• Complete blood cell count (evaluates red and white blood cells for changes that may indicate immune system disorders and some cancers).
• 10% savings on medical services not included in the Comprehensive Wellness Plan.

Premier Pet Lover Plan Benefits

• Unlimited comprehensive physical examinations (nose to tail) during regular office hours.
• Vaccinations (as appropriate for your pet’s age, breed, lifestyle and health status).
• Two intestinal parasite examinations per year (microscopic examination of feces for parasite eggs).
• Heartworm test (for dogs)
• Feline Leukemia test (for cats)
• Interstate health certificates as needed for interstate travel.
• Organ function screening (evaluates liver, kidneys, cholesterol, blood sugar and pancreas).
• Complete blood cell count (evaluates red and white blood cells for changes that may indicate immune system disorders and some cancers).
• Complete urinalysis (sensitive indicator of early kidney disease, screen for urinary tract infection, changes may indicate some hormonal diseases).
• Your choice of one of the following:  Professional teeth cleaning, radiographs (x-rays) of the chest to evaluate the heart and lungs, or adult spay/neuter.
• 15% savings on medical services not included in the Premier Pet Lover Plan.
