Dr. Carrie Williams

Dr.Williams grew up in West Milton, Ohio, where she discovered her love of caring for animals during her years in 4-H.  Dr. Williams raised and exhibited rabbits, sheep, pigs, and cattle at local, state, and regional exhibitions and fairs.  Dr.Williams attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.  In 2007, Dr. Williams opened Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic in Piqua, Ohio.

When Dr. Williams is not in the office, she is spending time with her husband and four children.  They are a busy crew and can usually be found at a horse show, soccer game, or swim meet.  Dr. Williams’ family includes two cats, a Russell Terrier, three horses, and a handful of rabbits.  Dr. Williams looks forward to meeting you and helping you to care for your own four-legged family members!

Dr. Ken Brunson

Dr. Ken Brunson joins us with over ten years of experience – predominantly in general practice but most recently as an emergency medicine veterinarian. While in emergency medicine, Dr. Ken missed getting to know families and supporting them throughout their time with their pets. His particular areas of interest are feline medicine and behavior, supporting senior pets, and surgery and dentistry.

Dr. Ken grew up in Piqua and graduated from Ohio University and Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. His certifications include Cat-Friendly Veterinarian and Fear Free Certified Professional, which aims to reduce pets’ fear, anxiety, and stress during veterinary visits. He also recently joined the board of directors for Labor of Love, a local non-profit that provides hospice care for shelter pets. Outside of work, Dr. Ken is an avid long-distance runner and has completed six marathons (including the Boston Marathon) and dozens of half marathons. He and his wife, Courtney, also enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors. They live in Troy along with three senior cats.
