Dentistry:

No Description resized to 600 pixels wideDentistry is an often overlooked part of health care for many pets.  Just like for people, routine dental cleanings and preventative dental care improve your pet's overall health and quality of life.  Untreated dental disease puts stress on your pet's immune system and can lead to serious liver, kidney and heart disease.

A thorough professional dental cleaning involves scaling and polishing the teeth both above and below the gumline, measuring the strength of tooth attachments and extraction of severely diseased teeth.

Our dental station is equipped with a slotted table to keep our patients clean and dry, an ultrasonic tooth scaler for getting those teeth pearly white, and a high speed drill to facilitate removal of teeth in need of extraction.
