Patient Housing:  Any patients that require hospitalization are placed in either the intensive care unit, feline ward, or canine ward.  Kennels are cleaned and bedding changed twice daily unless more frequent cleaning is required for "accidents".  Patients are kept warm and cozy with fleece blankets and comfortable floor mats.  Unless they are unable, dogs are walked multiple times throughout the day to allow exercise and breathe in the fresh air.  Feline patients are provided with plenty of room to stretch their legs and offered kitty toys to keep them occupied.

Feline Ward

No Description resized to 600 pixels wideThis ward is specifically designed for our feline patients.  Kennels are designed with individual perches for resting or climbing.  Many kennels contain portholes which allow patients to move from one kennel to another.  This gives cats the opportunity to have a litterbox in a separate compartment from their living space.

Canine Ward

No Description resized to 600 pixels wideThe canine ward contains kennels ranging in a variety of sizes to accommodate all types of dogs.  Large dogs are housed in full size runs to allow plenty of room to rest comfortably.
